Ana Serrano was born in East Los Angeles in 1983, and is a first generation Mexican-American. She creates work inspired by the intersection of both her cultural identities. 

Her works have been exhibited in both solo and group museum shows, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Vincent Price Art Museum, Craft and Folk Art Museum, and the National Museum of Mexican Art. Her work is held in private and public collections including, AltaMed Art Collection and the Phyllis and Art Colletion. 

 

She is currently represented by Bermudez Projects in Los Angeles, CA.
